Sinclair Schroeder earns OCCAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week award

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – Sinclair Community College swept the OCCAC men’s & women’s D-II Basketball Player of the Week awards for December 3 – 9. Sean McNeil and Amanda Schroeder pulled in this week’s honors with big weeks on the stat sheet.

Amanda Schroeder (6-00/SO – Dayton Carroll H.S.) corrals her seventh career OCCAC Player of the Week distinction and second this season. She poured in 32.0 points per game while shooting 50% (22-44) from the floor, 7-of-10 from deep and 13-of-15 at the charity stripe in two wins for the Tartan Pride. Schroeder added 11.0 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 1.5 blocks.

The defending OCCAC Player of the Year continues to score at will as she adds another milestone to her career honors, Amanda is the quickest women’s basketball player to score 1,000 points.
