Dayton, OH – Sinclair extends its winning streak to 8 with a convincing victory over Hocking College 127-53. The Tartan Pride shot 54% from the floor while achieving a season high of 34 assist on 54 field goals. Five players reached double figures, led by Amanda Schroeder's (6-00/SO – Carroll H.S.) 31 points, 16 rebounds, and 5 assist.

Dayton – A 53 point second half explosion led the Tartan Pride (18-3/8-1) to a 90-54 victory over Lorain County Community College (11-14/5-7), the 18th on the season.

The Tartan Pride played with a chip on its should Wednesday night ending Owen Community College 10 game win streak at home. Sinclair held the “former” OCCAC leader to a season low 37 points and 20% shooting. The Express began its winning streak defend Sinclair 55-47 in the first conference match-up. While the Pride are working a winning streak of their own, they controlled tempo from tip-off never trailing in the contest.

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – A handful of OCCAC hoopers have been recognized for their superb performances on the hardwood last week (Jan. 28-Feb. 3), named the conference’s Players of the Week. Kierre James (Sinclair) and Clair Schmitmeyer (Edison State) split the D-II women’s votes to earn co-accolades while Owens’ Moreina Moore picked up the D-III honors. For the men, Sean McNeil of Sinclair and Lorain County’s Thomas Hronis brought home the D-II and D-III laurels, respectively.

Dayton, OH – The athletic department is pleased to announce that 26 Sinclair student-athletes over five sports earned Fall OCCAC All-Academic honors.
Dayton – An early cold shooting night but efficient from the stripe led to Sinclair (13-3/4-1) women's 13th victory as they remain undefeated at home. Sophomore Keeara Nared (5-06/SO – Thurgood Marshall H.S.) led Sinclair with an impressive 15 points, 17 rebounds, and 4 assist in the 70-53 win over Clark State Community College (6-10/1-6).
Dayton, Ohio – Sinclair Community College super sophomore adds another milestone to her long list of accomplishments as she can now add the title of all-time leading women’s basketball scorer at Sinclair.

Dayton, Ohio-The Sinclair athletics family hosted its 2nd annual Athletics Hall of Fame induction Friday night in Building 8 Arena. In an emotional ceremony for the second year in a row, the night featured Tom Archdeacon as the Master of Ceremonies as Sinclair inducted Norma Dycus and DeSean Hadley.
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – Sinclair Community College comes in atop the 2018-19 OCCAC Women’s Basketball Preseason Coaches Poll after receiving five of nine first-place votes and being slotted no worse than second by any of the other head coaches across the conference. Owens Community College is ranked second and corralled three first-place tallies while Cuyahoga sits third overall, including a show of confidence by selecting itself as the top squad.
