Dayton, OH – As summer comes to a close and the start of the a new academic term is around the corner, members of the Sinclair softball team spent the day volunteering at the Wright Brothers Airport – Runway Fest in Miamisburg.

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – Five student-athletes earned 2018-19 OCCAC Sportsmanship of the Year Award accolades, one from each of the conference’s sponsored sports. This represents the third year of the award’s existence.
Dayton, OH – The athletic department is pleased to announce that 29 Sinclair student-athletes over five sports earned Spring OCCAC All-Academic honors, up from 26 honorees in the Fall. 26 Student-Athletes also earned Sinclair Dean’s List honors this Spring, earning 3.4 or higher.

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – Sinclair Softball (31-14 / 14-2 OCCAC) finished the regular season as the OCCAC champion and followed it up with the NJCAA District I Tournament Championship. The 3-2 win over Lake Michigan vaulted the Pride to their first ever appearance in the NJCAA Division II Softball College World Series.
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio ? Sinclair Softball (28-13 / 14-2 OCCAC) pitching staff received their 8th OCCAC Pitcher of the Week award with Cierra Chastain earning her 3rd honor.
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – With one doubleheader remaining to capture the OCCAC regular season conference championship, Ashley Brown was selected as the Softball Pitcher of the Week for the fourth time this season. Needing to sweep Cuyahoga Sunday to position the Pride one game up with two games remaining, Ashley and teammate Cierra Chastain pulled off the doubleheader road sweep.
Softball Teserovitch earns 1st OCCAC Pitcher of the Week award
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – Competition for OCCAC weekly honors was tough on March 25 as several strong nominations came in. Cierra Chastain (Sinclair) rose above the rest, however, and earned Pitchers of the Week for softball.
Sinclair (9-8) traveled to Rio Grande, Ohio Monday to face the Storm in a non-conference double-header. The Pride continued their winning ways as they handed the Rio Grande JV squad two double digit losses.
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – For the third time this season, Ashley Brown was selected as the Softball Pitcher of the Week (March 11-17, 2019).
Playing at home for the first time this season, the Pride was able to hold on and sweep visiting Region XII rival Oakland Community College.
This past weekend the Lady Pride traveled to Tennessee taking on two Division I Juco’s, Columbia State and Volunteer State.

Dayton, Ohio-The Sinclair athletics family hosted its 2nd annual Athletics Hall of Fame induction Friday night in Building 8 Arena. In an emotional ceremony for the second year in a row, the night featured Tom Archdeacon as the Master of Ceremonies as Sinclair inducted Norma Dycus and DeSean Hadley.
Dayton, OH – Sinclair Softball was on the road the weekend of September 29/30 with its first stop in Columbus Ohio at the annual Ohio Collegiate Charity Classic. This event has become one of the biggest fundraisers for Breast Cancer Awareness in central Ohio. The team faced NAIA Shawnee State, NAIA Ohio Christian and NCAA DIII Wittenberg.

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – A Tartan Pride pair has been bestowed the honor of the 2017-18 OCCAC Sportsmanship of the Year award as Sinclair’s Jazzlyn Petry and Alec Holtrey swept the Female and Male recognitions. Petry competes on the softball squad while Holtrey spends his time on the hardwood as a member of the men’s basketball team.

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – Sinclair Softball swept the OCCAC Athlete of the Week awards for Apr. 23-29 with ‘Alexis Squared,’ Alexis Gordon and Alexis Strother, earning Position Player and Pitcher of the Week, respectively. For baseball, Edison State’s Jake Clements (position player) and Brock Begue (pitcher) of Cuyahoga received the weekly recognition.
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – Three of four OCCAC Spring Athlete of the Week honorees for April 16-22 are repeat customers while Cuyahoga’s Santiago Ramirez earns his first career Pitcher of the Week accolade. Softball selections Kallista Hribar (Lakeland; position player) and Alexis Strother (Sinclair; pitcher) both pick up their third award this season and Colin Shepherd (position player) from Sinclair snags his second.
