Kierre James (Sinclair) and Clair Schmitmeyer (Edison State) split the D-II women’s votes to earn co-accolades while Owens’ Moreina Moore picked up the D-III honors. For the men, Sean McNeil of Sinclair and Lorain County’s Thomas Hronis brought home the D-II and D-III laurels, respectively.

Dayton, Ohio-The Sinclair Men’s Basketball staff is pleased to announce the first signing of the 2019-20 season, local two sport standout Terrance Lander from Dayton Dunbar. He comes to Sinclair after originally signing and playing NCAA Division I football for Purdue University in the Big 10 where it wasn’t long after he arrived in West Lafayette, Indiana till he earned the starting spot as Wide Receiver.

Lauryn Gray (Edison State) and Whitney Staggs (Columbus State) were selected for the women’s D-II and D-III accolades, respectively, while Sinclair’s Sean McNeil and Azende Johnson of Hocking College came away as the men’s recipients.
Dayton, OH – Early Saturday morning while the team was resting on the bus trip to Dearborn, MI for the first away contest of the year against a strong Henry Ford team, we received the sad news that Retired Sergeant Charlie Krandall had passed away on Friday at the age of 100.
Dayton, Ohio-The Sinclair athletics family hosted its 2nd annual Athletics Hall of Fame induction Friday night in Building 8 Arena. In an emotional ceremony for the second year in a row, the night featured Tom Archdeacon as the Master of Ceremonies as Sinclair inducted Norma Dycus and DeSean Hadley.
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – Cuyahoga Community College Men’s Basketball has been tabbed as the 2018-19 preseason favorite in the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference, receiving first-place votes from seven of the other eight head coaches across the league. Sinclair C.C. and Columbus State C.C. came in at No. 2 and No. 3 in the OCCAC Preseason Coaches Poll, respectively, each garnering one first-place vote.
Dayton, OH – Always a special and honored day for the Sinclair’s Men’s Basketball teams as they made their annual trip to the Dayton Veterans Affair Medical Center. This past Friday was the 12th straight year the Men’s team visited the VA and spent time with the inpatients and their families.
SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – A Tartan Pride pair has been bestowed the honor of the 2017-18 OCCAC Sportsmanship of the Year award as Sinclair’s Jazzlyn Petry and Alec Holtrey swept the Female and Male recognitions. Petry competes on the softball squad while Holtrey spends his time on the hardwood as a member of the men’s basketball team.
