Sinclair freshman earns 4th OCCAC Player of the Week

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – Sean McNeil (Sinclair) and Lacey Watson (Edison State) split the conference voting committee for the second straight week and will be named co-OCCAC D-II Men’s Basketball Players of the Week

Sean McNeil (6-04/FR – Cooper HS KY) continued his standing as one of the nation’s elite scorers, shoving 33 more points through the hoop in Sinclair’s 107-76 road win at Jamestown Community College. He knocked down 12-of-18 field goal attempts, including 5-of-9 from beyond the arc, and hit 4-of-5 foul shots. McNeil added in a half dozen rebounds, two assists, a steal and block in 36 minutes of action. He now owns four weekly conference honors this season.

Sean continues to lead all NJCAA divisions in scoring averaging 34.2 points per game and 1st in the nation with 5.5 three points made per game (45.8%).
