For the third straight season, (9th time in 11th years) Sinclair won the OCCAC Championship earning an automatic bid to the Regional.

Game 1

Needing one win against Clark State to win the conference, Pride freshmen shortstop Matt Meyer was on a mission to get that done. Meyer accounted for all of the teams RBI’s, hitting two homeruns, his 5th and 6th of the season. Alex Theis improved to 8-0 on the season, throwing six scoreless innings while striking out 14.

Game 2

The Clark State Eagles took their first lead of the series in the 3rd, and carried a 4-0 lead into the 5th. Sinclair fought back, with homeruns from Mike Sears & Justyn Eichbaum but fell short in their comeback. Sears hit his 15th homerun of the season, setting a new Sinclair single season record.

Game 3

The Tartan offense bounced back in a big way in game three. Led by sophomores Alex Jacobs and Jeremiah Clarke, the Pride scored thirteen runs on twelve hits. AJ Peter picked up the win, throwing five innings allowing one run.

Starter Drake Bauer continued his dominance in the conference with another complete game performance. The offense had twelve hits again, led by Jeremiah Clarke who had four hits, three extra-base hits, including a three-run homerun in the 3rd.
