Hall of Fame Information

The Sinclair Athletic Hall of Fame was established in 2016 to recognize and honor individuals/teams that have made significant contributions to Sinclair Athletics.Sinclair Athletics Hall of Fame logo


Strong consideration will be given to athletic and academic accomplishments as well as character.  The individual/team must have made a significant contribution either as a player or had extraordinary service as a coach or administrator while at Sinclair.  Any individual who have rendered extraordinary service, leadership and/or support contributing directly to the success of the student-athletes at Sinclair.  Special consideration may also be given to exceptional achievements post Sinclair if the committee feels those contributions or achievements relate back to the values of Sinclair Athletics.  The nominee also must have also demonstrated good citizenship. 

Nomination Eligibility:

Individuals/teams will be eligible for nomination five (5) years after completions of eligibility or completion of employment.


The committee will be chaired by the Athletic Director and have four (4) volunteer At-Large members.  The four members shall be chosen by the Athletic Director and will eligible to serve a term of no more than three (3) consecutive years.


All nominations must be received by May 1st.  Committee will begin reviewing all nominations post deadline and will make final decision Mid-August.

Each year, the committee will select one female and one male for induction into the Sinclair Athletic Hall of Fame in October.  The committee may also elect to substitute either a female or male nominee with a team nominee.

Linda O'Keefe Inducted 2017: Women's Basketball Coach from 1978 to 2003, Women's Tennis Coach from 1979 to 1998, and Assistant Athletic Director from 2000 to 2003.
